MISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN
As part of the mass communication assessment, DR Brown the lecturer for mass communication assigned her students to embark on a campaign journey about societal problems in relation to media. So my team THE PURPLE GROUP embarked on a project named KASAPA MOVEMENT. The project was based on creating awareness on misinformation . We made use of the new media which is social media accounts like instagram and tiktok and also the traditional media such as flyers ,banners , shirts etc . We targeted people on the streets and also student from UNIMAC to create awareness on the need to stop false news and its effective way of curbing it.
